How do I Join?

 

How does someone join HTSB?

We love that so many people feel able to drift in and out of HTSB. They come to be blessed, to bless the Lord or to bless others. We are glad to have a completely "open door policy" when it comes to who’s welcome and who belongs!

But for those wanting to make HTSB their "spiritual home", there are 4 things we ask them to do…

  • Come on a Sunday

    No-one (including our clergy!) makes our services every Sunday of the year. But our expectation of church members is that they will make regular Sunday attendance a diary priority.

  • Serve on a Team

    Whether a Sunday or mid-week Team, we expect HTSB church members to ask the Lord to lead them into a ministry where they serve at least once a month.

  • Join a Small Group

    We have growing network of Home Groups at HTSB to which you are invited. They meet at various times and in various places during the week. To try or join a group, email gill@htsb.church who would love to help you find the right one.

  • Give Financially

    The amount is not important: we suggest church members give a tenth of their income, whatever that may be. What we hope is that it will be a joy for each of us to fulfil this expectation of membership, especially given the spiritual benefits (1 Cor 9v6)!!
